Michael Kruse closed his first major online advertising deal in summer 1999 whilst expanding a students’ campus guide into this digital universe called then The Interweb or so.
From 99 to 08, he was responsible for handling online advertising budgets for clients, looking for online research surveys and managing performance marketing departments for companies like freenet.de and Commission Junction in Germany. Within the years, he focused mostly on Tracking- / Adserving-Technology, Performance Media and SEM. In 2008 he decided to leave his Senior Management position at ValueClick Germany and is today an entrepreneur, specialized on digital advertising. His newest project is Website Society GmbH, a Munich based company for international web publishing in the post web 2.0 era.
Michael graduated in Media Management, is a former chairman of the BVDW Affiliate Marketing committee and today also a time to time consultant, lecturer and author.
