Peter Ellen started working in the music industry at the age of 17 as a recording artist and went on to be a producer, club runner, radio presenter, label owner and latterly worked for the music retailer Fopp.
At Fopp Peter rose from the shop floor to become MD in 1999. By 2005 Peter had led the chain from sales of £4m to £35m when he left the business. He then worked as a consultant and journalist before joining Maxymiser in 2006. Peter is a Fellow of the RSA and holds non-executive positions with Burt Greener Communications and Something Else (the largest independent radio producer in the UK and a top ten producer of TV entertainment).
