The confidence and feel good factor at the recent a4uAwards really shone through and I expect to see the same at this year’s Expo.”
We will be working closely with NMA in the coming months to increase awareness of the event to a wider online marketing audience.

We are pleased to announce that the IAB will once again be supporting a4uexpo this year.
Dan Redfearn commented;
“The IAB has once again pledged its full support of the a4uexpo event in October. With the Affiliate Council making some serious headway in its activities, the event will be perfect timing for updating the Affiliate community on what the Council has been up to this year.”
We will be working closely with the IAB, looking to engage the community on best practice and issues which affect us all. Last year we launched a new IAB Affiliate Council forum to ensure all affiliate council meetings are transparent and engages everyone who is willing.
Affiliate Marketing is a diverse, fast paced and ever changing industry consequently assembling an agenda of over 30 sessions is an exciting task in its own right.
To increase your chances of being chosen I have assembled a number of guidelines to help you pitch for an hour session or for inclusion as a panellist or a moderator at a4uexpo.
The quality and effort you make in your submission at this stage will help portray your intentions and points across to the speaker advisory board.

Don’t make a sales pitch
Although speaking at our conference will help build awareness of and credibility for your company - It’s commercial suicide as far as we and your audience are concerned to conduct a hard sell. It’s a big no-no. This is a paid conference and our delegates expect more. Stick to the ‘exhibition’ style events if this is your intention.
Suggest a panel or session
Help us to help you by suggesting and putting together a complete panel or case study to present at the conference on a topical issue. Sessions generally run for around 50 minutes, you may wish to consider bringing in other experts or clients within the field to share the speaking responsibility.
Be Specific
Whilst we appreciate it is a few months until the conference and that you direction of your session could change, its important to be as specific as possible at this stage. Please include suggested session titles and descriptions as you wish them to appear on the website and conference programme. In addition to a brief explanation of your topic and why you feel it should be selected.
Don’t rehash old content
Topics must be fresh, thought provoking, educational, and possibly provocative. We are looking for real case studies, results of research; unique content for our audience.
Be interactive, use case studies and add value
Sessions which involve audience participation, case studies and Q&A time will be given greater consideration.
Sessions at a4uexpo vary from Q&A, moderated panel debates, case studies, research analysis and live interactive workshops. Depending on the topic and perceived demand you will be speaking in a room of between 40 and 400 delegates.
One final note, whilst we appreciate proposals from networks and agencies we are unable to fill all 30 sessions by networks - therefore your proposals must be well thought out, planned and promoted to be considered.
If you have any questions, please call me on +44 (0) 1179 723998
All speakers and panellists receive a complimentary full pass to the conference. We are unable to cover travel and hotel expenses. A VIP speaker / blogger room will be available this year for all our speakers.
Submissions are only accepted online using this online form.
Submission Deadline: 20th July 2008
