I Did it My Way at a4uexpo – Top 10 Networking Opportunities

I did it my way at a4uexpo – top 10 networking opportunities

Believe it or not next week will be our 7th a4uexpo and throughout the years the team have not only discovered what works (and what doesn’t) but also attended numerous niche and major events from across the digital sector.

This learning goes directly into the thought process when we organise the networking opportunities at our upcoming shows to make sure we tick all your boxes.

The British are a often a reserved specimen and we know that some of you prefer to network in your own way rather than in a US style ‘Meet Market’ ; which I think is great but have reservations on whether it would work this side of the pond.  We have therefore scheduled a selection of networking opportunities to cater for different tastes, requirements and personal styles:

Pre-event networking

Historically attracting a crowd that fly in from abroad a day or two early, speakers and those local to London who can pop in after work the day before the conference. Expect this to relaxed, informal yet very productive in meeting new friends and business contacts. This year we’ve also joined forces with LondonSEO so expect a diverse crowd! We have a venue in SOHO – arrive early to collect your badge and avoid the queues in the morning!

Health Clinics

New for 2011! With different topics on each day. A great opportunity to meet experts on a given subject that could pay for your ticket alone.

Hot Hilton Lunch

On each day we have an amazing Hilton Buffet for you to devour – all you can eat! – we just don’t do soggy sandwiches at a4uexpo! – Lunch is an extended hour and a half to enable you to arrange meetings or take time out to peruse the expo hall.

Expo Hall Networking Reception

Relax and chat to fellow delegates within the expo hall.  Not only will we be providing beer and soft drinks, but many of our exhibitors choose the end of day one to entertain clients. Rumours of champagne, canapés, Bavarian sausage and beautiful bottles of Malbec are rife!

Speed Networking

For those that love structure.  A huge success last year. We simply had to bring it back and Webgains agreed! – Register Now to secure your seat.

Middle Evening Party

It’s starting to get serious now. This year’s venue has a range of rooms and a free bar. The party goes on until 1am and we’re sure to throw in a few surprises – so for those that need a beverage or two before you start to flow then tonight is the night to make it happen.

Expo Hall

Many of our exhibitors choose to have relaxed seating and affilinet this year even have a Bavarian Oktoberfest themed stand! – TradeDoubler also have Costa coffee on tap ;) And I hear Champagne and Canapes are on offer at Clickbank!

Breakfast

You may not consider this as a networking opportunity, but hundreds of our delegates will be staying at the hotel and as all our rooms include the amazing Hilton breakfast don’t sit alone – look for the wristbands and buddy up over a full English and a Barroca! – we know some of you hate our wristbands but they are a conversation starter! – Secure your room at the Hilton Now and enjoy our preferential rates.

Meeting Zone

Located at the rear of the expo hall next to the knowledge centre find a number of tables suitable for ad-hoc meetings, kindly sponsored bby Freespee.  If you prefer, the café in the Lobby of the West wing is also a popular meeting point,  just in case they don’t have an a4uexpo conference  pass!

Meet the Agencies

New for 2011 – An opportunity to speak to a number of the main agencies representing hundreds of brands.  Cross them off your hit-list and stop by between 10.30am and 12.30pm on day two.

Now you know all about the opportunities, do you have any tips on how to get themost from the above?

If you still need to register, you can secure you place and still save £100 on the door price.
