The Affiliate Sales Kit – Writing Killer Proposals and Selling Yourself To Merchants

This year Grant and Nadeem will be sharing a session on how, as affiliates you can promote yourselves effectively to merchants – in a way that will hit the right buttons with both the affiliate manager, brand team and the board.

Here is what Grant had to say about his upcoming slot.

What advice will you be sharing at your session? i.e Why should we come and see you!

I will be discussing how and why affiliates need to be more proactive when it comes to meeting with merchants.  I will be showcasing how merchants think when it comes to budget allocation and the opportunities this presents for affiliates.

Why is it important?

Affiliates need to sell themselves and their business more to the merchants, affiliates are very agile, sleek machines that can deliver incremental value, far quicker than most other online RTM’s  We have moved on from the word affiliate and should be concentrating on partnership marketing – this is where the long term stability for both parties will come from

What experience level will you be pitching at? (beginner to advanced)

All levels will be able to take something away from the session, it would also encourage merchants to attend, so they can see for themselves what affiliates should be doing

Which sessions or speakers are you looking forward to seeing at a4uexpo?

Affiliate Apocalypse Panel – I am keen to hear how the panel view the future and if the ‘risk /reward’ element can continue to work for all parties

Do you have any tips for delegates who attend conferences like a4uexpo?

Planning is important – make sure you are clear on the sessions you wish to attend and be willing to participate, don’t be afraid to ask questions that’s how/why this industry continues to develop

Can you share any hot news or gossip in your world  / niche?

Client confidentiality is a key part of the consultancy business!

Can we catch you on twitter?
