The a4uexpo team have arrived back in freezing cold Bristol after the a4uexpo London 2011, hosted a brand new location, the Hilton Metropole.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us as this years event.
Over 1000 delegates attended the conference from across 26 countries worldwide including Thailand, Romania, Israel, Hungary, Denmark, Equador and the USA to name a few!
The conference was opened by Tom Critchlow, Stephen Pavlovich and Kelvin Newman at 9.00 debating the The Science of Influence and Engagement, via behavioural economics and game theory. The session remained one of the most popular of the day with the highest number of tweets, accounted for courtesy of Performance Horizon Group and the brand new a4uexpo twitter wall. We will be releasing more statistics over the coming days, so keep an eye on our blog to find out who was tweeting the most, and what the buzz was on #a4uexpo. Other popular sessions included; ‘Open Q&A about Google Organic Search, with Pierre Farr and Kaspar Szymanksi from Google, and Martin Macdonald of OMD, the final session on Tuesday afternoon, ‘Debate: Isn’t it about time Affiliate Networks added value?’ a lively session featuring heads of two key networks Florian Gramshammer of Commission Junction and Mark Walters of Digital Window as well as Matt Bailey, from Performance Horizon Group, moderated by Helen Southgate from BSKYB. The lively session was aided by a significant number of tweets opening the discussion to the room.
A big thank you must go to our speakers for committing their time to a4uexpo London this year, as well as a big thank you to you as delegates for attending the sessions, supporting the debate and discussion and for some fantastic questions.
The evening of day one ended on a high at Covent Garden venue Foundation with a fantastic drinks reception, including a welcome cocktail courtesy of Found, and a live band E2, allowing you all to showcase some of the infamous dance moves we have come to love.
The exhibition hall was a hive of activity for the duration of the two days, with some fantastic stands courtesy of our sponsors and exhibitors this year. The introduction of the street as well as new features the Performance Marketing Health Clinics and The Street aided to the constant buzz of networking and conversation at this years events.
