one cherry well and truly popped…
While a number of the attendees can be described as regulars or even the charitably self-titled ‘old guard,’ for many like myself here was a first time experience in the slightly surreal world of the affiliate marketing juggernaut that is the a4uexpo London.
As a recent arrival at a4u towers, the a4uexpo London was my first major event on the existem/a4u calendar. And what a wild ride it was!
Big thanks to all our sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and everyone who came along who made the event a very special few days. You made a newbie feel very welcome.
Amongst the stand-outs was the quality of what takes place during the a4uexpo from start to finish. The high calibre panel of international speakers, the excellent and informative stands around the hall floor and the desire of every single individual there to make the very most of the opportunities to meet, make contact, network and occasionally have time for a couple of beers. The a4uexpo London really is an opportunity like no other in the affiliate and performance marketing arena.
And now it is over for this years London event.
What have I come away with? Knowledge, information, the desire to bake my own cupcakes, contacts, follow-ups, a slightly fuzzy head, a pile of business cards, an invite to a very cool launch party, memories, new business opportunities, the urge to google for nipple tassels, faces to names, ideas, plans and some very very sore feet!
So after a very long sleep as of tomorrow the ball is firmly rolling for the next event, a4uexpo Europe which will be returning to Munich 7-8 June 2011.
