Hilton Munich Park – Getting to the Hotel for a4uexpo Europe 2010

On the 18th-19th May 2010, a4uexpo’s second Pan-European Conference is taking place at the Hilton Munich Park Hotel. The hotel is situated in a quiet area next to the beautiful English Gardens, and is just 1.5 miles from Munich’s business district.

Here’s a quick guide on getting to the hotel for this year’s a4uexpo Europe conference

From Munich International Airport (Franz-Josef Strauss) by Taxi

From Munich International Airport (Franz-Josef Strauss), taxis are available to take you directly to the Hilton Munich Park hotel. The journey normally takes around 30 minutes from the airport to the hotel.

From Munich International Airport (Franz-Josef Strauss) by Car

From the airport join the motorway A92 at the junction “Dreieck Flughafen München”. Stay on for 4.53 ml. At the junction “Autobahnkreuz Neufahrn” change from A92 onto the A9 in direction Nürnberg, A9, Eching-Ost, Salzburg, München . Follow the A9 for 11.75 ml. You are entering Munich. Leave A9 at junction “München-Schwabing” in direction of Passau via A92, Messe, Icm and join Mittlerer Ring, Schenkendorfstraße (B2R). Stay on for 1.80 ml. Leave Isarring, Mittlerer Ring (B2R) and turn right into Ifflandstraße. Stay on for 575 yd. Leave Ifflandstraße and turn right into “Am Tucherpark”. Follow the street for200 meters and turn right at the first traffic lights.

From Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof)

From Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), the connection to the Hilton Munich Park is simple and convenient. With the Tram line 17, going in the direction of Effnerplatz, one travels for about 20 minutes, exiting at the stop Tivolistraße. From there, about a 3 minute walk will bring you exactly to the main entrance of the Hilton Munich Park.
