Will you be the most influential of the twitterati? A guide to using twitter at a4uexpo

t1

This year we’ll be ramping up our usage of twitter which we’ve used at all conferences since 2008.

In conjunction with Ultra Knowledge we’ll be recording all data to give an insight to you about our most influential tweeters, most followed, active and connected delegates at the show.

We encourage you to therefore use our generic show hastag which is set at #a4uexpo throughout the conference and at the parties.

We’ll also be using session specific tags for each room.

  • Ballroom A = #a4ua
  • Ballroom B = #a4ub
  • Cezanne & Van gogh =#a4uc

t2We’ll be encouraging our speakers and moderators to take questions from twitter throughout the sessions and for bloggers and journalists to add session specific hastags to their tweets.

We’ll also be collating tagged photos through the API from twitpic and yfrog to create a picture wall which will be live at our final networking event.

We use our twitter account to update you year round about the conference and the industry so please follow us at twitter.com/a4uexpo

Brilliant! Integration of realtime reporting and communications (audience to audience and audience to speaker) means tiwtter will enable the audience to mold and direct the news itself! Sweet.
