Learn How Your Website Linguistics can Increase User Experience & Assist Conversions

One of the great peripheral value add sessions this year at a4uexpo will be the talk by Professor David Crystal author, co-author or editor of over 100 books on the English language. He’ll be looking at how your website linguistics can help conversions alongside how language can affect user experience. It’s an honour to have David at the show, we thoroughly recommend you attend the session. If you’re a paid search affiliate or are looking for that extra % conversion this is a must attend.

Session Description

Misplaced or insensitive ads, irrelevant or ambiguous search results, and dead-end e-commerce enquiries are regrettably still common internet user outcomes. How can these bad user experiences be avoided? David Crystal explains the origins and development of a linguistics-based strategy, the ’sense-engine’, which has used large-scale dictionary and encyclopedia analysis to generate a new range of products for Adpepper Media, notably iSense and Sitescreen.

If you’ve been confused about the difference between keyword analysis, contextual advertising, and semantic targeting, and are wondering what the next buzz-words in semantics are likely to be, this talk is for you.
