Look out for our ‘Blue’ London Buses transporting you to Canary Wharf
We’ve booked 3 rather unusual Blue London buses to transport you to Canary Wharf on the Tuesday night to take you to the Platform-A Luxury Cruise on board the Silver Sturgeon which departs from Westferry Pier.
Buses will be leaving from outside the FOX @ ExceL @ 6pm, 6.30pm and 7pm (GMT) and transporting you back to ExCel at 11pm.
Depending on demand these may fill up (you’ll have more chance getting on the 6pm service) however don’t fret as the pier is a short trip on the DLR which is just a few minutes walk from the Fox.
If you get to Canary Wharf early, the meeting point will be at Jamie’s Bar
To confirm timings for the cruise we will be leaving at 8pm sharp, don’t be late otherwise you’ll do a Tyson and miss the boat! You can board from 7.30pm.
You must be a full pass holder wearing your blue wristband and name badge for entry.

LOL was a classic moment, first event in his new job and he missed the boat, will he ever live that down! :-)

Lol, do a Tyson indeed! I remember seeing him standing alone on the dock as we arrived back from the cruise, looking all sheepish :)
